Activist pushes politically correct plan to rename Father’s Day

In a somewhat controversial move, activist and Doctor, Red Ruby Scarlett is trying to rename Fathers day to Special Person’s Day. The renaming is apparently an effort to ensure some children won’t feel left out.

The news segment claims that there are some schools and kindergartens who are embracing the name change so that some children without fathers won’t feel offended.

When asked about any backlash to her plan, Dr Red Ruby Scarlett said that there has been some parent groups who think the idea is great and inclusive for those children without a traditional family structure. Outside of that, the reaction has generally taken more of a negative stance.
